Birds of Paradise Party Details:

This is what Natalie said about planning the party- “My lovely client Anthony was having his 21st. Being a very creative and unique 21 year old who works for Versace in Sydney he chose an extremely unique concept. His idea came about because of a gorgeous pair of white pants he owned which had similar patterns to his invitation and the designs used on the cake and chocolate wrappers.

I decided to have the dessert table symbolise paradise. My first idea was to drape my canopy with green vines and to have the green vines throughout the table so the guests could truly feel like they are in paradise. This coupled with the gorgeous water views made you truly feel like you were in a colourful paradise. I had to also include the colourful cages which symbolised the birds. When it became dark we added candles to the birdcages which gave the table an amazing glow.

The cake was just phenomenal and felt like it was a true replica of his invitation. The bottom tier had the birds of paradise patterns and the top tier had the parrot reflections with a gorgeous electric blue birdcage wired around it.

The cupcakes mimicked the pattern on the paperie and cake and the gorgeous cookies had birdy imprints on them.

Other desserts included chocolate mud cake pops (embellished with leaves), strawberry with balsamic glaze pannacotta shots (with amazing wooden cutlery with gorgeous parrot reflections), custard fruit tarts and macarons.

A candy station was positioned on foot stools at the front of the table. A tropical paradise so colourful and full of sweet candy which consisted of chocolate beans, jelly beans, skittles and rock candy sticks.

Each guest got to take home their own personalised chocolate bar.

I must say this concept was one of my favourites to date.”
