This lovely YELLOW AND GRAY WEDDING DESSERT TABLE was submitted by Joelle Penafiel of The Party Starters Events.
What a beautiful spring time or summer dessert table. I love all of the bright and fun ideas. This would be great for a sunshine themed birthday party, a bridal shower, or even a gender neutral christening/baby blessing table.
My favorite Yellow and Gray Wedding party ideas and elements from this beautiful event are:
- The simple and elegant cake
- The cute ruffled cake pops
- The bride and groom silhouette sugar cookies
- The lemon bars
- The fun yellow peeps on a stick
- The bright yellow and gray awning
- and MORE!

Yellow and Gray Wedding Party Details:
This is what Joelle said about planning this party- “I was asked by a dear friend to help her plan her friend’s garden reception dessert table. With only 3 weeks before the event, I nervously agreed to do it. It was definitely full speed ahead since Day 1, and it definitely took group effort to make this event possible!
The reception took place in a beautiful-beyond-words family friend’s backyard gardens…complete with winding pathways, wooden benches tucked away in corners of pathways, millions of gorgeous plants and flowers in bloom, and a grand gazebo walkway welcomed guests to the celebration! The soothing sounds of a bubbling brook and waterfall echoed faintly throughout the gardens. It truly was a magical place for an outdoor spring wedding reception!
Our dear bride wanted a bright “spring” theme with yellow and gray for her colors. We wanted to create an elegant and soft look. With this theme in mind, we tried to serve treats that had different shade of the color yellow. We included yellow marshmallow peeps on sticks with bows tied on, and a nest with two love birds that the bride painted herself and wanted included on the table. The yellow buttercream wedding cake was absolutely delicious! It was a wonderful evening filled with fun, laughter, and tender moments. We are happy we got to be a part of this beautiful wedding reception!
Congratulations Gina and Arturo! May this new chapter in your lives together be blessed beyond measure”!
