This cool STAR WARS + LEGO THEMED TWELTH BIRTHDAY PARTY was submitted by Eliska of Ruffles & Bells.

What a fun theme for a child, teen or even an adult. This party has tons of fun ideas for any Star Wars fan!

My favorite Star Wars party ideas and elements in this tween celebration are:

  • The fun labels
  • The Star Wars cubee characters
  • The awesome drinks
  • The cute paper straws and labels
  • The death star poster
  • and MORE!

This is what Eliska said about planning the party-

“River, the birthday boy, turned 12 and since he and his dad are big fan of Star Wars and Lego, the party theme was easily decided. His mom was very hands-on with the party and we were honored to organize and style everything based on her ideas. River was more than happy to put out all his collections as display for the table.

Instead of the usual sweets, we opted for finger foods since they were all growing boys. Chicken nuggets, chips and pizza were the mains and then a sundae buffet for dessert.

There were no special games on the day, but instead River’s mom planned a whole day of activities for the boys like swimming, play station 3 and some light-sabering.

For the birthday cake, we made a lego cake out of cupcakes with yellow icing so they’ll look like two Lego bricks. And at the end of party, each of the boys got a mini cubee version of their choice and more cupcakes.”

What a great idea for a boys birthday party. As boys get a bit older it is quite hard finding a theme that they are going to enjoy. This has however hit the nail on the head….its awesome. The food, the decor, its all great :-)
