How wonderful is this GIRL SCOUTS THEMED PARTY submitted by Cris McGrath of Crissy’s Crafts?! I just love it! I have never seen a Girl Scouts Ceremony party & think this is just too cool! How cute would a Girl Scouts themed birthday party be for your little girl who loves being a scout! So many darling ideas here…
Cris said this about planning the party- “The Investiture and Re-Dedication Ceremony is a big part of Girl Scouts. The Ceremony is held to welcome new girls into Girl Scouting and for the girls that are already invested to reaffirm their belief in the Girl Scout Promise and Law. Because of the importance of these events, I wanted to give the girls a beautiful but meaningful ceremony. We started the ceremony with a Flag Ceremony, welcomed the new girls with a Candle Light Ceremony, played a skit about Stereotype (current patch they are working on it) and closed the ceremony singing “Make New Friends”.
After the ceremony, the girls and their family enjoyed some light refreshments that included trail mix, cake pops, cake balls, brigadeiros de copinho (Brazilian chocolate dessert), sweet popcorn and lemonade.
As favors, the guests took home s’mores favors and each Girl Scouts received a Butterfly necklace. Since now they are Juniors, the butterfly necklace has a special meaning for them. As they get older, they are growing their wings to fly to higher places on their own. Scouting is a fun way to teach young ladies on how to make the world a better place.”

Cute Party Theme.
This is cute and a great idea except for the fact that the girls are supposed to do the invitations and decorating as part of their bridging activities/requirements. Plus the Girl Scout image/logo is copyrighted….although any girl scout can use it, so probably not an issue since it is a girl scout party LOL.
My girls would be over the moon for this party and some nice ideas in any case. There are many things that junior level girls can do, depending on their craftiness. I must say my troop developed some skills under my leadership after a while. ;)

I am a GS leader and have been for 5 years and this is a BEAUTIFUL party. I am planning my investiture ceremony in a few weeks and would also LOVE the link to the printables you used here.
